I know that I have not been active for a bit. It’s been a crazy past few weeks.

My fiancé and I have been looking for a house for a little while now and finally found one we like. It’s a nice house with some nice stuff but the customer service of the builder has been horrible. It’s a pretty main stream builder too. But what are you gonna do? So anyway we’re moving on with that, it’s on to fiancing now.

So the app store opened. What free time I have had away from work and house hunting has been spent in the app store or on the phone using apps. So it’s kind of a good thing that this wordpress app pops up this morning. So perhaps I can post a little more frequently.

I have also been entertaining a few ideas for tutorials. Not quite sure yet I’m thinking of interface design or an artsy painty tut, of an octopus with a cleaver! Yes. I think I’ll do that one it may take me a bit as this my first tut but I will do my best to make it thorough and informative. Hope to have it up Friday or Monday. I’m also hoping to do a breakdown of the breakdancer itunes desktop. So hope to give you all sometthing soon.

Color is really starting to take a presence on the web that I am truly enjoying. It is also really helping to solidify a theory I have had since the web 2.0 trend started. Web 2.0 has its own trends, it’s not about shiny reflective logos or grunge style or hand drawn looks or any of that it is about an ever evolving spectrum of design. Web 2.0 started a trend of striving for standards compliance and accessibility, good looks and fresh design just happened to come along with the package. So what does this mean? I’ll tell you what I think…

I have been doodling skulls the past few days, much different than this actually. I was feeling something abstract almost like a watercolor wash that had formed the image. I went a little grungy but kept a bright palate and overall I am pleased with the outcome of the image.

I have supplied various sizes and formats for your desktop enjoyment. Oh and iPhone size too.

I am moving to a new company on Monday and I thought, ‘might as well say goodbye to the old site’. So in with the new all the way around. My new design is inspired by the freaking sweet iTunes commercial flying around right now. In case you live in a far away land where iTunes commercials do not play on every commercial break of every show here it is. I am also just digging leopard in general as well so that had some to do with it.

I also made a new wallpaper inspired by the commercial as well I will get that up in various sizes shortly.

So maybe I am a little slow, but a while ago I was really trying to get a good footer stick solution. Well if you were to browse Google for all of 10 minutes you’d find a lot the three links listed below.

Here is where the trouble started.

So I came up with my own modification. This has been cross browser tested and works well in all environments (to my knowledge let me know if otherwise).
